Error 738
1. Turn off error control and
compression in the modem settings.
2. Uncheck enable software compression
(and PPP LCP extensions in NT).
3. In TCP/IP in the network control
panel, click on WINS and "enable Windows Resolution".
4. Still in TCP/IP make sure that the IP
is being attained automatically and (in NT) uncheck enable PPP LCP extensions.
